21st century skills

I recently wrote a paper on skills for the 21st century. While this might commonly conjure images of digital lifestyle skills and green collar job readiness for some people, this paper takes a hard look at the ambiguous and at best unknown nature of life in the future. In the face of such uncertainty, this paper calls for heart skills like creativity, compassion, flexibility alongside head skills like synthesis as being essential in the future.

After an initial investigation on required 21st century skills, the paper does a basic analysis of the education at the Puget Sound Community School as a model for developing these skills.
