Time to look for a preschool

The new year is here and so is the time to look at preschools. The early years of a child's life are her most formative. They have a long-term impact on her growth. Most people already know this. What is boggling to many well-meaning parents is trying to understand what it really means to meet the needs of a young child, especially in terms of her education. Preschool environments have a significant impact on a child's growth in those early years.

These coming months from January-March are the time when most parents of 2-5 year olds take a hard look at choosing the right preschool. This year, I will consult parents on how to choose the right preschool through individual consultations and a few workshops. To kick-off the season, I will be present at the Parent Map Preschool Previews next week, at the North Seattle (Jan 10) and Bellevue (Jan 12) locations, providing (free) 10-15 minute consultations to answer specific questions. To sign-up for a consultation, RSVP for the fair and ask for a consultation.

In addition to gathering materials from the preschools present at the preview night, you can also plan on picking up an additional guide written by me about choosing a preschool. It will be available at the event.

Mark your calendars – Jan 7, 10 and 12 in three locations – and come to this one-stop-shop for your preschool search.

See you there!
